Too many stops for one dinner
Families in Mississauga were driving to three or four stores for halal meat, spices, fresh bread, and weekly basics. Food World Plus was built to bring those trips together under one roof.
A Neighbourhood Store
With A
World-Sized Pantry.
Food World Plus is a family-friendly international grocery store on Matheson Boulevard in Mississauga. Fresh food, the flavours of home, and everything for the week, under one roof.
We opened Food World Plus so Mississauga families could find halal meat, global groceries, and weekly staples under one roof.
So we put it under one roof.
The store was planned with nine departments, a certified halal counter, six international food aisles, and specialty counters staffed by people who cook the foods they sell.
Opening on Matheson.
The grand opening welcomed the neighbourhood with full shelves, department tastings, and Order Ahead pickup from day one, with more community events planned through the year.
OUR PEOPLE
Meet The People Behind The Counters.
Ask them anything. How to cut it, how to cook it, what came in this morning.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT
Mississauga Feeds Us. We Give Back.
A store this size is part of the neighbourhood. Here's how we show up for it.
Local First
When it grows in Ontario, we buy it from Ontario. Look for the Ontario tag in Produce.
Fighting Food Waste
Surplus food is donated weekly to local food banks serving Mississauga.
Hiring From The Neighbourhood
We prioritize Ontario growers and suppliers whenever season and quality allow, starting with produce and dairy.
Local Causes
We support schools, mosques, temples, churches, and community groups across Mississauga through donations and event partnerships.
